The desire to bring a global, high quality entertainment industry to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led to Live Nation Middle East partnering with the MISK Foundation to train home grown event professionals.

Ten young candidates were selected who could be future leaders in live entertainment in their home country.

Live Nation entrusted TESS as the training facilitator for this unique project.  A total of ten male and female delegates were chosen to participate in an immersive program, where we mentored and showcased the scale and scope of production and event management. Highlights included participation in operational event control rooms, venue tours, event safety training, exclusive behind the scenes tours at festivals and London venues, an air show, an insight into event comms with a PR and marketing agency and much more. The program included a dozen classroom days that covered all aspects of event management. These ranged from structure design and event planning to crowd management, industry mental health care, emergency planning, event safety access training, risk mitigation through to branding and marketing.

We delivered a hands-on, customised educational program. The students came to the UK and spent their summer learning about event production from some of the best companies and professionals in the live entertainment business. By exposing interns to the best practices in the business, their knowledge base will have a positive impact on the future of the global live events industry.  Several interns remained “hands on” with Live Nation projects later in the year, with the Diriyah Music Festival, the Dakar Rally, Riyadh Seasons, BTS in KSA, and more.
