Event Safety Training

Training has been at the heart of our operation since the start of the company over 20 years ago. 

During those years, we have helped induct tens of thousands of people onto event sites, from Glastonbury to Hong Kong to Texas.  We delivered specialist training programmes within the industry and have created dozens of bespoke seminars and exercises for clients around the world. 

Over the past few years, the TESS team has shared their knowledge and expertise with a wealth of clients. In Bangkok, Justin Argent facilitated training days with Live Nation’s S.E. Asia teams, tackling risk management and operations; Tim Roberts has been back with the production teams from Festival Republic and the BBC to talk about crowd dynamics and modelling, alongside Simon Ancliffe from Movement Strategies; and across in the USA, Don Cooper has been co-ordinating tabletop exercises for large US events.

Safety training is not only a fundamental legal requirement in many contexts but also brings numerous benefits to an organisation; increasing expertise, reducing losses, and encouraging teamwork and skill transfer.  Whilst we can deliver off-the-shelf training products, we prefer to build sessions around the specific needs of our clients to provide better value for money and a longer lasting impact.
