    The International Festival of the Sea Portsmouth, the largest maritime event in the country, started a long-term relationship with the water for TESS

  • 2002

    Styled our relationship with the fashion world working for clients at London Fashion Week

    Entrusted to be their safety eyes for the first time, Glastonbury Festival begins a long-standing relationship with TESS that has continued to the present day

    Our Champagne Supernova relationship with Festival Republic opens with Oasis’ Finsbury Park gig

  • 2003

    TESS help Massive Attack to deliver the biggest show they had ever played at their home coming show in Bristol’s Queen Square

    Work on Maritime events continues with the International Festival of the Sea in Edinburgh

    The team managed some seasonal safety cheer with a Festival of Christmas in Portsmouth 

  • 2004

    TESS carried out our first ‘Managing Event Safety’ training course to educate event professionals about the positive aspects of health & safety culture

    Working with the great Sir Paul McCartney on his world tour 

  • 2005

    Marking 200 years since the battle of Trafalgar, TESS worked with the Royal Navy to ensure safe T200 celebrations nationwide

    Travelled to the island of Jersey to help the organisers of the fresh new Jersey Live Festival 

  • 2006

    Close Encounters with Robbie Williams managing safety for a spectacular production on his European tour

    The TESS team head East to Doha for the Asian games, overseeing the safe build of the largest video screen at the time

    Tim waxes lyrical, taking on guest speaking roles in Dubai 

  • 2007

    TESS act as safety advisors to the opening ceremony of the new International St Pancras station and the Eurostar, attended by HM Queen Elizabeth II - a grade one event

    Work with BP at their Sunbury headquarters helped to deliver their summer screen events

    Simon joins the AGOTTS committee at the Institute of Structural Engineers to help write the Temporary Demountable Structures guidance document, version 3

  • 2008

    The 2008 Capital of Culture Projects start a special long-term association with Liverpool Council

    TESS visit China for first time to begin workon the Olympic handover event in Beijing with the immensely talented London 2012 team 

  • 2009

    The festival roster is expanded to include Glastonbury, Hop farm, Reading , Leeds and WOMAD

    Worked at the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix concert series for the first time - a trip which went onto include many other projects in Abu Dhabi

    Work on the water stays afloat as the latest Royal Navy destroyer is launched in Portsmouth dockyard 

  • 2010

    TESS spread our wings with Red Bull UK, working on the X Fighters event at Battersea Power Station

    The golden rule 'never work with children or snimals' is broken as the team work on Oman's 40th Anniversary celebrations, featuring 12,000 children, and the C reature Company's Walking with Dinosaurs Arena Spectacular

    A safety light is shone onto the illumination of a 73-mile length of Hadrian’s wall - a stunning project celebrating 1600 years since the end of Roman rule

    Festival season warms up as safety work is carried out at Big Chill, Danson, Electric Picnic, Glastonbury, Latitude, Leeds, Reading, Liverpool on the Waterfront and a whole bunch more 

  • 2011

    TESS are fully up to speed with the risks around motorsports when we ensured the British leg of the World Motorcross Championship went off without a hitch in Matterley Basin, Hampshire

    The Snowbombing Festival roadtrip is kept safe as they travel accross across Europe, and touring relationships continue to thrive as Roger Waters' ‘The Wall’ Tour is delivered around the world  

  • 2012

    Celebrations for HM the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee on London’s Mall had Union Jacks waving thanks to Innovision and the team

    Celebrations continue in the UK as TESS support Olympic torch events around the the country

    Off to South America with Linkin Park, and friend of TESS, Jim Digby, to look after the band, crew, and all their boisterous fans, before managing a quick spin out with Madonna for Jake Berry

    The first visit of the Royal De Luxe Giants caused quite a stir in Liverpool and brought the crowds out in huge numbers 

  • 2013

    TESS work as part of a marvellous team tasked with resurrecting cultural heritage at the Qasr Al Hosn festival in Abu Dhabi

    Education and training continues to be a priority for TESS, as Tim, Simon and Mike all visit the USA for talks with a fledgling Event Safety Alliance

    Tim spends time in Moscow to work with The British Council on their cultural tour 

  • 2014

    TESS kicks the year off working for One Direction and their hordes of admiring fans , before commencing work with Jack Morton on safety at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games opening ceremony

    Work across Europe continues as TESS manage safety at the UEFA Champions’ League festival in a beautiful square in Lisbon

    The Al Ain Airshow in the UAE makes for interesting times in the air and on the ground

    TESS starts working with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) on their premier tournament at Queen’s Club, London and in Birmingham

  • 2015

    Our relationship with the British Council continues when Simon heads out to Nigeria to carry out a series of venue audits around Abuja and Lagos

    Cunard’s Three Queens sailed into Liverpool in front of huge dockside crowds, all carefully managed with a light touch by the TESS team

    AC/DC, Kiss, Lana del Rey, Linkin Park, Jason Derulo, Bette Midler, Paolo Nutini, Depeche Mode, Dave Matthews, Michael Buble, Motley Crue, Robbie Williams, One Direction, Sam Smith and Hello Kitty all take us out on tour

    Tim starts an MSc in Crowd Safety and Risk Analysis 

  • 2016

    TESS joins forces with Specialized Security to deliver training for soccer stewards at the new Vodaphone Park stadium in Istanbul

    Large crowds are managed at the Alexandra Palace Firework show - the largest display in London

    Mega-mud made it a tough but memorable year at Glastonbury Festival

  • 2017

    Tours with Linkin Park, Kanye West, Kiss, Coldplay, Frank Ocean, Depeche Mode, Muse, Phil Collins, Queen, Roger Waters, and Dave Matthews take TESS around the world

    Cycling and running events on Welsh mountains and the streets of London for Red Bull and JP Morgan respectively

    Sporting engagements from around the world keep us active, with events from Hong Kong Jockey Club to Bath Rugby Club

    The year's rounded up with New Year’s Eve festivities in Abu Dhabi  

  • 2018

    Worked with world-renowned artist, Christo, to help realise his London Mastaba floating installation on the Serpentine, Hyde Park

    TESS works with Insomniac on their incredible Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas, and another festival in Austin TX

    Meanwhile, across the ocean, a busy summer of UK festivals, including Wireless, Isle of Wight, WOMAD, Community, Boardmasters, Bristol Balloon Fiesta, Bradford, Leeds, Reading, makes up for a year without Glasonbury Festival

    Shows at Disneyland Hong Kong with Taiwanese pop megastars Mayday helped us to get a foothold in the exciting country that is China

    TESS are engaged by Live Nation Middle East to help deliver a concert series alongside the inaugural Formula E-Prix in Saudi Arabia

    Tim graduates his MSc in Crowd Safety and Risk Analysis, and heads back out for shows and business development in Hong Kong and China, including presentations in Shanghai and Guangzhou for our good friends from VPLT (Germany)

    The business expands with Jimmy Chan and Uncle Bor at Trinity Technology

    Jimmy and Jon Corbishley look after the League of Legends world championship finals at the Incheon stadium in Seoul, South Korea 

  • 2019

    eSports took centre-stage as we worked with TPN and ConCom on a range of live gaming events, stretching from Shanghai to Vietnam, Taiwan, France, Germany and Spain

    Doug Bruce from TESS USA joins the Brits for a summer of fun, including Glastonbury and Wireless Festival, and the delivery of bespoke occupational and classroom training for 10 Saudi Arabian graduate students

    TESS deploys a large team to Saudi Arabia, providing safety and operational consultancy for the General Sports Authority, and a whole bunch of site, safety and event delivery functions for Live Nation - all as part of the Diriyah Season in Riyadh 

  • 2020

    The year jumped to a start in Saudi as the team provided safety management and event control for the Dakar Rally Closing Concert

    Simon received a Certificate of Commendation from the Merseyside Police for his role in delivering Liverpool Dream’s Giants Spectacular event

    As the global Coronavirus pandemic hit the world and the events industry, we reapplied our expertise and knowledge to support the NHS response to Covid-19 and safely build the temporary Nightingale Hospital in Bristol

    TESS adapted to the digital events industry, offering Covid compliance support for artists such as the Gorillaz and Dua Lipa, allowing them to produce virtual concerts for fans in isolation  

  • 2021

    The continuation of the lockdown in the UK and across much of the world saw the TESS team travelling back to Saudi Arabia for a busy year supporting the delivery of the Inaugural Jeddah Formula 1 Grand Prix and Sandstorm Festival

    TESS worked with MDLBeast to develop their Respect & Reset programme to protect all persons from harrassment at events and deliver a zero-tolerance approach to harassment

    As the year came to a close, we began our alliance with Riot Games, providing event safety services for the League of Legends World Championship in Iceland and the Valorant Champions tournament in Berlin  

  • 2022

    The TESS creative safety approach was put to work as we collaborated with Unboxed to deliver innovative projects that explored the potential of the human mind in the DreamMachine and saw the repurposing of a North Sea offshore platform into the SeeMonster

    Festival season jumped back into full swing after a 2-year hiatus, with the team turning up in full force to help our friends at Glastonbury Festival deliver their postponed 50th anniversary event

    Crowd management was given the spotlight at Boomtown as we consulted with the team on a new and improved site plan and operated the festival’s first dedicated crowd management team

    Tour work continues as TESS support the Love on Tour production to deliver Harry Styles shows across the globe
