TESS have been embedded in Glastonbury Festival since 2002. Our onsite team help keep over 200,000 members of crew and festivalgoers safe across the full event lifecycle; providing strategic advice in the planning stages, on the ground expertise during the construction and live show, through to load-out. TESS are trusted to make creative ambitions and lifelong memories achievable and safe.

Over the years there has been a huge amount of positive changes, including online inductions and reporting systems which help the Festival's sustainability goals by vastly reducing paper use and provide a more efficient system which captures and shares necessary information. We also deliver a suite of safety documentation and safe operating procedures as well as strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, including medical providers and local authorities.

In 2018 TESS took on leading emergency planning, resilience and Event Control to the Glastonbury portfolio. As the biggest temporary Event Control facility in the country this is no small task. However, it is essential to the smooth running of Glastonbury business as usual and must be prepared for anything the world can throw at it. Our experienced team of Event Silvers and Duty Controllers operate 24 hours over the show period to support all departments and tie the many different threads of the Glastonbury fabric together.
