Holly Jackson

It was during her law degree that Holly first became interested in the subject of event safety, helping to introduce a new system of managing event safety at student events at Durham University. After graduating, she gained her first insight into the UK event’s industry working at the G7 Summit in Cornwall.

Whilst working as an Events Manager at a rural venue in Devon, Holly started her master’s degree in Creative Events Management. In the process of conducting interviews for her thesis on the role of Safety Advisers in the UK events industry, an introduction to Simon James led to Holly joining the TESS team as a Trainee Safety Adviser in April 2022.

Holly has since progressed to become an Event Safety Adviser following the completing her NEBOSH qualification and now works across all aspects of TESS’ projects, from writing safety paperwork for global tours of some of the world’s biggest artists, such as Harry Styles and Coldplay, to working as an onsite Safety Adviser on a wide variety of events including music festivals, sporting events and high-end fashion shows.
